The description perfectly fits the music: deep, obscure, hypnotic, mental, filthy and psychedelic. It takes shades through the producer's musical background: orchestrated by extreme metal, industrial & EBM, New Wave, Noise, techno, IDM & dark ambient. May 2012 marked the inception of HypoGeo's introduction to the wider world of music. The frst full-length album "Tree of Lies" was released on Zenon records - the infamous Australian psychedelic label. The album was a huge success for the particularly aggressive and heavy sound, building the bridge between the deepest of psychedelic trance textures, some call it "forest" and the ultimate “Zenonesque” sound. No matter what the title, the awe of experiencing a live Hypo-performance is second to none, anywhere around the globe. Currently, HypoGeo is working on the long awaited 2nd studio album; an epitome of creativity, abstract sonic landscapes, and undeniably intricate composition. It wasn't long until he made the transformation from house and techno to psytrance. This transformation was about the same time as The Elysian Circus became what is now known as Lunasa Festival. He played a set on their Psytrance stage (THE GEOHEAD) that year and to this day is still one of his favourite moments as a DJ. When the people responded to the infectious sound he was playing he knew there and then he was going to dive headfirst down the rabbit hole of psytrance. Encrypted Minds has successfully been running GNOMADS since 2015, the west of Ireland's beacon for psytrance. GNOMADS started out of love and necessity for more of the sound he craved. With one goal in mind ' to leave a lasting impression on everyone that attend the events. GNOMADS has been bringing some of the most exciting local, national and international DJs throwing them into a pot with the highest quality DJ tools then mixing them with the best people in the electronic music scene to create phenomenal memories. Mark began his contribution to the Irish Psychedelic scene through promoting events across the country. It wasn’t long before his passion for the music evolved into a more hands on approach and the Meerkat initiative was born. Initially a DJ project, the production bug soon bit and Mark started producing his own brand of psychedelia. Meerkat has released a number of well received EP’s and is constantly striving to push the boundaries with his sonic palette. So here we go! For our launch night we’ve got 2 of the best in the Irish Garage scene holding it down while our Dun Kno residents will get you nicely warmed up as we christen  our first night in The Sound House!  Prozak: Prozak has flourished over the last year since he came onto the scene in 2020 with ‘Get Up’. Since then, he released his first EP on one of the UK’s most prominent labels  ‘Time is Now’. His ear-catching production style has caught the attention of some prolific and long-in-the-game artists, such as Conducta, Skream and Kettama. Prozak is just as passionate when it comes to DJing - appearing on Rinse FM, Rinse France and recently making his DJ debut with 23 degrees in Manchester.  M4A4:  Dublin based DJ and producer M4A4 caters to both the house and garage stylings. With releases from labels such as RunningOutOfSteam. Distant Horizons, and Unknown to the Unknown, M4A4 is sure to get your champagne poppin! Be sure to check out his recent Rinse FM show to see whats to come. We’ve teamed up with long running collaborators Manifest to welcome Thomas P Heckmann back to Irish shores alongside Jon Hussey & Con.r on support.
It’s a pleasure to showcase a pioneer & legend like Heckmann once again, anyone that was at our sell out show 2 years ago already knows what’s up! 
Expect a night of chaotic high octane techno from start to finish bringing a diverse mix of acid & electronic melodies to create his signature EBM sound, this one is going to be huge!

Thomas P Heckmann

With a career spanning two decades that started out with him as resident at the legendary Slinky in the early 2000's up to his reemergence in 2019 with an EP on Sasha's 'Last Night On Earth' followed soon after by his album 'Lion' released on Anjunadeep which received rave reviews and support from artist such as Solomun, Stephen Bodzin, Adriatique, Ida Engberg and Shadow Child, Jon shows no sign of slowing.
In recent months, a debut  set at Fabric and stunning performances at Printworks and Warm Up Festival have seen Jon return to his rightful place behind the decks and a very special set from him awaits you at The Sound House on May 20th. With his new album 'Phoenix' dropping on Anjunadeep April 8th, 2022 is shaping up to be another massive year for this artist.
On the night we have support from our PolyAmber residents DJs: Local Irish talent, R.E.E.V. as well the accomplished Liverpool based, Wadcutter.

We are super excited to announce our next party - CLUB RATS , inspired by the iconic club kid movement of the 90s which embraced the spirit of community, creativity and provided a safe space and a home for many when they had none. 

We’re joined by Alt8 & Shannen Blessing , two of the hottest Irish DJs/producers for a very special B2B set. On support duties we have cork DJ and producer HOOLIGAN.  Expect high energy, hypnotic techno and underground sounds. We’ll be handing over the terrace to Ariana Grindr, who will be playing your fave pop anthems. 

As always we will have a prize for best dressed think extravagant, avant garde, glitter, sex, gender-fluid vibes.
